Finding Your Haven presents

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™

12-Week Programme

No shame, no blame, just change.

A 12-week programme designed to help you transform your relationship with food.

If you've spent years dieting, feeling frustrated, and wondering why nothing seems to work long-term — you are not alone.

For a long time, I believed my struggles with food were due to a lack of willpower. Eventually I realised something very different.

The problem wasn't me.

The problem was dieting.

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ is not another diet programme. It is a structured journey that helps you understand how the brain learns patterns around food — and how those patterns can change.

Food loses its voice.

Sound Familiar?

Is This You?

You might recognise some of these experiences:

Food occupies your thoughts far more than you would like

You feel caught in a cycle of dieting and starting again

Certain foods seem impossible to resist

You feel guilt or frustration after eating

You feel as though you "should know better"

You wish food could just become a normal part of life again

If any of this sounds familiar, you are exactly the kind of person this programme was designed for.

A different approach

This Is Not Another Diet

You might recognise some of these experiences:

Most diet programmes focus on

What you should eat

What you should avoid

How to control food

A different approach

Understanding how patterns form

Curiosity, not restriction

Listening to your body

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ takes a completely different approach.

I will never tell you what you are allowed to eat. In fact, one of the most empowering things I often say to people struggling with food is this:

"You can eat anything you want."

At first that statement can feel surprising. But something interesting happens when restriction disappears.

Over time, "want to" begins to align with "need to". Instead of fighting food through discipline, people begin listening to their body and responding to what actually feels right.

The emphasis throughout this programme is non-restriction and curiosity, not control.

The structure

The 12-Week Journey

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ is structured as a 12-week journey across four clear phases.

Weeks 1–3

Understand

We explore how dieting, life experiences and emotional patterns shape the brain's relationship with food.

Weeks 4–6

Observe

We replace judgement with curiosity and begin noticing the patterns behind eating behaviour.

Weeks 7–9

Rebuild

We rebuild trust with the body and begin resolving some of the underlying experiences that may have contributed to disordered eating patterns.

Weeks 10–12

Live Freely

Food gradually takes its natural place in life rather than dominating our thoughts.

How it's delivered

How the Programme Works

The programme runs over 12 weeks and combines group learning with personalised one-to-one support.

Weekly Group Session

A one-hour online session exploring the week's topic with practical insights and discussion.

Weekly Private Session

Each participant has a one-hour private session during the week. These sessions allow us to explore the deeper patterns behind eating behaviour, including emotional triggers, life experiences, and the personal factors that may have contributed to your relationship with food.

Small Supportive Group

Groups are limited to just four people so that everyone receives real attention and support.

What to expect

What Changes Might You Notice?

The changes people experience are often subtle at first. This programme does not focus on strict rules or dramatic transformations. Instead, people often begin to notice a gradual shift in how food feels in their daily life.

$

Food no longer dominates your thoughts

$

Certain foods that once felt irresistible lose their pull

$

You pause and check in with your body before choosing what to eat

The food noise disappears

Over time, food simply becomes less dramatic and less dominant.

Sue's story

My Story

For many years I struggled with my own relationship with food. Like many people, I tried many diets. Each new diet began with hope… and ended with the same quiet feeling of failure. I became stuck in the familiar cycle of blame, shame, guilt and "try again tomorrow."

For years I believed the problem was me.

About three and a half years ago I began exploring a very different way of understanding eating behaviour and the way the brain works. Instead of focusing on food rules, I began looking at why the brain develops these patterns in the first place.

Gradually something changed.

Sue — 2023 & 2026

The Christmas box of chocolates lasts for weeks.

Snacking is rare.

Portion control is easy.

Eating in restaurants is no longer accompanied by guilt.

I can stop eating when I'm full and throw away leftovers.

Food no longer dominates my thinking.

Food has lost its voice.

You might ask…

People sometimes ask me how much weight I have lost. The honest answer is: I don't know.

I don't measure my progress by a fluctuating number on the scales. In my experience scales often create more emotional noise than clarity.

Instead I notice other signs. How I look. How I feel. How my clothes fit. Things like watch straps and belts.

I am no longer chasing an unrealistic ideal.

I acknowledge that I am built more like a Shetland pony than a thoroughbred. And that's perfectly fine.

I am content with who I am. I am moving more, eating less, and I'm happy.

The biggest source of unhappiness in my life — my relationship with food — is now resolved.

A Note About This Programme

This is the first intake of The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ programme.

Over the past few years I have studied and trained in a number of approaches that explore the connection between the brain, emotions and behaviour — including Havening Techniques®, EFT, NLP and hypnosis. These techniques allow me to work with the underlying patterns that influence eating behaviour.

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ brings together the insights and methods I have been learning and applying during that journey.

A good fit?

The Dieting Mindset Rewrite™ may be a good fit if:

You are tired of dieting cycles

About the programme

Is this another diet programme?

No. This programme does not involve meal plans, calorie targets or food rules. The focus is on understanding how the brain learned patterns around food and working together to allow those patterns to change.

Once you have quietened the food noise, your ability to choose healthier foods and eat smaller portions may well result in a weight loss.

How is this different from a diet?

I am not going to tell you what to eat. If you are a lifetime dieter, you will probably already have a good idea of what a healthy intake of food looks like. Instead, I will concentrate on the root cause of your disordered eating and help you get comfortable with food again — removing the food "noise."

What if I want to know what to eat?

This programme is not a diet. However, it can work alongside dieting if that is the route you want to follow — everyone is different, and some people prefer a more structured approach. That is a personal choice.

This programme will give you the tools to understand — and resolve — the causes of your disordered eating, which may actually make it easier to follow a structured eating plan if that is what you choose.

Is this programme about weight loss?

Weight may change as eating patterns change, but the programme is not focused on chasing a number on the scales. The focus is on finding the reasons for your disordered eating so that eating becomes more natural and less stressful.

Do I have to give up certain foods?

Absolutely not. One of the core principles of the programme is non-restriction. You can eat anything you want. Over time, many people discover that their body naturally guides them towards what feels right, so that eating becomes easier and food loses its voice.

Do I need to exercise?

Increased movement is good for everybody, but I am not going to tell you to exercise. This is a completely personal choice. I will share some tools to help motivate you to move more — but whether to follow them is entirely up to you.

I've seen lots of programmes advertising "mindset changes" — how is yours different?

The most valuable part of my programme is the one-to-one sessions. These are tailored exactly to your needs and give you the opportunity to do a deep dive into the issues that affect you personally. Using the various methods I am trained in, I will help you resolve these issues. It can be amazing how seemingly insignificant events can create a lasting — and negative — effect in the brain.

Think about the sentence that most parents say to their children “clear your plate – think of the starving children around the world” and how that might have left you feeling unable to leave food on your plate. (How can eating leftovers help starving children??) But it shows the lasting effects of a simple phrase.

When does it start?

The first intake will start in mid-April 2026.

Is it right for me?

Who is this programme safe for?

This programme is designed for people who struggle with disordered eating patterns such as emotional eating, food cravings, and cycles of dieting and overeating.

It is not recommended for people with a clinical eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia, unless specifically advised by a medical professional. If you are unsure whether the programme is suitable for you, please book a call and we can discuss your situation honestly.

How do I know if this programme is right for me?

If in doubt — book a call. It is free, no-obligation, and is absolutely not a sales call (I am a rubbish salesperson!). I will find out more about you and your situation so that we can decide together whether this programme is the right fit. I will be totally honest — and if you are still not sure at the end of the call, I will suggest you do not sign up.

I work full-time as an accountant, so this is not about me earning money. It is about helping people.

What if I feel sceptical?

That is completely understandable. Most people who arrive here have tried many diets or programmes before. This programme does not promise quick fixes. Instead, it offers a different way of understanding eating patterns and how they develop. Instead, it offers a compassionate and gentle way to help you understand and resolve the issues that cause disordered eating.

Is this just another programme that's going to waste my money?

I understand this concern deeply. Having spent a great deal of money myself on programmes that ultimately did not work, I know how precious those resources are — and how painful the disappointment of another failed attempt can be.

This programme is not a diet. It is an opportunity to fully explore the reasons behind disordered eating and to resolve them. I believe I have found the answer that eluded me for many years, and I want to share that with you.

Why are you the right person to help me?

Apart from a lifetime of experience with failed diets, I have spent the last three and a half years deeply involved in studying the reasons for disordered eating and solutions to resolve them. In 2024 and 2025 alone I completed over 300 hours of structured study, resulting in four qualifications: Havening Techniques®, NLP, Hypnosis, and Brittany Watkins Weight Loss Coaching. I continue to study to further develop my skills and knowledge.

I designed this programme to help people exactly like me — people who have suffered at the hands of the dieting industry, who have failed multiple diets, and who are looking for an effective alternative.

Please have a look at my reviews from the wonderful people I have helped.

How do you know what it's like to be in my shoes?

I designed this programme to help people exactly like me — who have suffered at the hands of the dieting industry, who have failed multiple diets, and are just looking for an effective alternative. In our one-to-one sessions I will take time to learn more about you specifically, so that I can offer help tailored to your situation. Everyone is different.

What if I am neurodiverse?

I have personal experience of this — and some of my own challenges around food arose from it. Please call me to discuss and we can explore whether this programme is suitable for your particular situation.

I have issues with alcohol as well — will this help?

This particular programme is directed at disordered eating rather than alcohol. It might be more helpful to sign up for a course of private sessions, where I can tailor the work specifically to alcohol — the process is quite similar. Please call me to discuss if this is your situation.

What to expect

What changes can I expect to see?

You should notice a reduced desire to snack, a reduction in cravings and emotional eating, and a growing ability to tune in to your body's natural signals — when to eat, when not to eat, how much to eat, and the ability to stop when you are full.

Resolving the underlying issues around disordered eating can also contribute to a more relaxed state of mind generally.

When can I expect to see changes?

Some of the techniques can work very quickly — within one session you should be able to reduce the craving for a particularly troublesome food. The effects of the programme build over the twelve weeks, and by the end you should be back in touch with your body and able to eat more naturally.

If this is the first time you've run this programme, how do you know it's going to work?

Having seen the remarkable effects of the techniques I use, I am very confident that I can help most people resolve their issues around food. I have worked very successfully with individuals seeking this kind of help.

My passion is to help as many people as possible escape the dieting roller coaster — and that is exactly where the idea for a group programme came from.

Please take a look at my reviews from my clients.

What if I struggle?

It is natural to have this concern. With the support of the group and my individual attention, I will do my best to ensure that everyone has the best possible chance to succeed.

What if I'm too ashamed of my eating habits?

Firstly — be honest. Brutally honest. Unless I know exactly what is going on inside your mind, I will not be able to give my best advice. Trust me — I have probably been there before you.

Every DMR member will be treated with compassion, empathy, and in the strictest confidence.

Practicalities

How much time do I need to invest?

There is a one-hour group session each week, plus a one-hour private one-to-one session with me. I will also suggest tasks to be done between meetings to enhance the work we do together — these can take as little as ten minutes a day.

What do I get for my money?

You will receive 12 one-hour group sessions, 12 one-hour private one-to-one sessions, and access to a private WhatsApp group that I will monitor and contribute to when needed.

What if I miss a week because I'm on holiday?

With the other participants' permission, I will record the group sessions and make the recording available to you for a limited period. Your one-to-one session can be carried over to the following week. Please give me advance notice so I can structure my diary around your needs.

What do I need to do?

Honesty is the biggest priority. Beyond that: show up to all sessions, complete the exercises between sessions, and let me know if you have any concerns during the programme.

What if my family doesn't support me?

You will not be following a strict diet — you will be eating normal foods, so your family may not even notice a difference, although you might find you naturally want smaller portions.

If you are responsible for cooking, you can make very gradual changes over time if you feel that is right for your family. If someone else cooks, try to be present when they are serving the food so that you can control how much goes on your plate.

After the programme

What happens after the 12 weeks?

I am keen for the WhatsApp group we create together to continue, so that participants can offer each other support, tips, and advice. I will continue to play a part in that group.

You will also have the opportunity to sign up for additional private sessions at a discounted price if you feel that would be helpful — though this is entirely your choice.

I think this would really help a friend — can you send her some information?

I am really pleased that you can see the value in the programme and want to share it. I would prefer all enquiries to come directly from the person who is interested — please do pass on the link to this page and encourage them to book a call if they would like to find out more.

Still not sure whether this is right for you?

Call me. Let's have a chat. I am not going to try and sell you anything — just an honest conversation about your situation and whether the programme might be able to help.
